Nicholas Murphy's American Circus

In Los Angeles, young Catholic priest Nicholas Murphy is teetering on the edge of psychosis as he descends into a fantasy world as a private detective working the high-profile case of the missing television actress Topeka Sky. When Nicholas rescues Topeka's boyfriend, Doug Fairchild, from being murdered, Doug and Nicholas team up in search of the missing starlet while navigating a zany, turbulent L.A. world of surfer priests, corrupt cops, conspiracy theories, and one feisty French-Canadian Mountie.
