Set in the small Northern California logging town of Burney, What Has To Be Done is the story of two brothers, Jay and Freddy Monahan, who, while on a deer hunting trip to the coast, make a most unusual discovery -- a narco-submarine that has washed ashore along a deserted stretch of coastline.

And it's not only what the brothers find inside the sub that alters their lives forever, but rather WHO they find inside, sparking a CIA cover-up that sends Freddy on the run and Jay to cover their tracks while U.S. Army Special Investigator Brian Fullerton (a struggling rookie agent who has yet to solve his first case) is dispatched to Burney to get to the bottom of the mystery. ***Screenplay optioned by Andrew Traucki of Mysterious Lights.
